ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Primary Function: Lead Departmental efforts to supervise and complete daily accounting requirements. Assist in the production of monthly, annual and ongoing financial reports and analysis. Participate in strategic financial planning exercises and ensure that adequate internal controls are in place and followed.
Specific Responsibilities:
1) Supervise Accounting Clerk and Receptionist ensuring that the following tasks are completed in an accurate and timely manner:
i. Accounts Receivable including bank deposits, invoicing, A/R general ledger entries and monitoring of customer aging reports.
ii. Accounts Payable tasks including merchandise received, A/P general ledger entries, check printing / signing, and monitoring of vendor aging reports.
iii. Various audit functions to ensure the accuracy of invoices received, expense reports submitted, and orders booked.
iv. Bank reconciliations, report generation, journal entries and other necessary monthly accounting tasks required to close out financials.
v. Proper filing of all work orders and accounting records.
2) Assist the Director of Finance in the creation of all monthly closing journal entries and financial reporting requirements.
3) Support the Director of Finance in the creation of annual budgets and multiyear financial forecasts.
4) Assist the Director of Finance in maintaining a detailed statement of Cash Flows.
5) Recommend and implement effective internal controls.
6) Maximize reporting efficiency by effectively using technology tools.
7) Possess a solid understanding of the company’s policies and procedures and the reasons for them.
8) Evaluate all relevant factors when making decisions and exercise sound judgment in referring issues to the Director of Finance when necessary.
9) Generate and file sales tax reports.
10) Support the Director of Finance with special projects when they arise.
Experience:
· 2 – 4 years accounting or financial analyst experience preferred
Requirements:

Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other related area of Business meeting the requirements for the CPA License

HUMAN RESOURCE SUPERVISOR
Primary Function: Direct all company efforts relating to Human Resources.
Specific Responsibilities:
1) Perform weekly payroll processing and reporting.
2) Manage and administer all employee benefits including, but not limited to, Health, Dental, PTO, EAP, Section 125, 401(k), Safe Harbor and Profit Sharing.
3) Maintain and update all HR files, including but not limited to employee personnel files, insurance and disability coverage, training records and other related files.
4) Assist in recruitment, screening, interviewing and evaluation of all applicants for employment.
5) Responsible for all required documentation related to hiring and termination.
6) Assist in periodic revisions and additions to the Employee Handbook.
7) Responsible for distribution of the Employee Handbook.
8) Fulfill obligation as Process Owner for all employee training requirements.
9) Process all necessary paperwork required for FMLA, Disability and Worker’s Compensation claims.
10) Assist in managing the temporary workforce and in communications and negotiations with temporary employment agencies.
11) Responsible to communicate relevant company policies and to maintain effective employee relations.
12) Assist in the investigation of employee complaints and in conflict resolution.
13) Work with Management to schedule annual company meetings including Harassment Training, Insurance Updates, Retirement Planning and Investment Updates, and overall Company Annual Performance Updates.
14) Lead company efforts to coordinate and organize social events, community involvement and philanthropic activities.
Experience:
· Minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in manufacturing.
